"Embracing the beautiful pause before life takes flight."

Celebrating Motherhood

Maternity is a time of incredible transformation and anticipation. It is the shortest chapter of your story, yet arguably the most profound. My goal is to capture the grace, strength, and pure joy of this journey.

These sessions are tailored to make you feel comfortable, beautiful, and empowered. Whether we shoot outdoors during golden hour or in the calm intimacy of the studio, we focus on the connection you share with your baby, preserving the stunning visual memory of your pregnancy.

Maternity Session Tips & Preparation

To ensure the most comfortable and memorable session, here are a few tips to help you prepare for your maternity shoot.

  • Optimal Timing (28-34 Weeks) The ideal time for your maternity session is between 28 and 34 weeks. Your bump will be beautifully rounded, and you'll typically feel most energetic and comfortable for posing.
  • Wardrobe Consultation I offer a selection of flowing gowns and fabrics perfect for maternity portraits. We will have a consultation beforehand to discuss your preferred style, location, and the outfits that best showcase your pregnancy glow.
  • Hair and Makeup Consider scheduling professional hair and makeup. This not only enhances your look but serves as a relaxing treat before the session, boosting your confidence for the camera.
  • Involve the Family Partners and older siblings are highly encouraged to participate! These images celebrate your growing family, creating beautiful connections and anticipation of the new arrival.
  • Choosing the Light For outdoor sessions, we prioritize the 'golden hour' (shortly after sunrise or before sunset) to utilize soft, warm, and flattering light that enhances the beautiful silhouette of your pregnancy.
